2. Bookings & Cancellations

• Chemistry Calls: Free 15-minute chemistry calls can be cancelled or rescheduled at any time without penalty.
• Paid Sessions: Payment is required to confirm your booking (handled via invoice prior to the session).
• Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule a paid session, please provide at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a 50% cancellation fee.

3. Nature of the Relationship

My services are advisory in nature. The guidance provided during the sessions—whether strategic, operational, or philosophical—is based on my professional experience and the information you share.

You remain fully responsible for any business or personal decisions you make following the discussions. I do not guarantee specific financial or operational outcomes.

4. Confidentiality

Sessions are strictly confidential. I will not disclose the nature of the discussions, your business strategies, or any proprietary information shared with me, unless required by law.

5. Intellectual Property

"Clarity Maps" and any bespoke frameworks or models developed specifically for your business during an engagement become your property for internal use. The underlying methodologies remain my intellectual property.

The "Calm in Complexity Leader Wellbeing Profile" and any other diagnostic tools provided on this site are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not provide a medical diagnosis or clinical risk assessment, and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

7. Liability & No Reliance

No Reliance: Your use of the assessments, tools, and advice provided is entirely at your own risk. You remain fully responsible for your own wellbeing and any business or personal decisions you make following the discussions or assessment results.

No Guarantee of Outcome: I do not guarantee any specific improvement in wellbeing, leadership performance, or financial outcomes from using the tools or engaging my services.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Derek Richards shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from your use of the site, assessments, or advice provided.

Non-Excludable Liability: Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be legally excluded under English law.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
